I began working in the photographic industry in Alice Springs in 1980, employed on staff by news and government agencies. After three years, I established my own studio in Darwin, concentrating on commercial photography. I moved to Hobart with my young family in 1988, and established my studio here, working primarily for advertising clients. 

Over twenty-two years, my work has featured a wide range of photographic subjects and styles, including advertising, commercial, people and places, as well as self-commissioned projects. In addition to specific commissions, I have for the past twenty years run photo library and shooting stock for Australian and International Photo Libraries. I have also enjoyed teaching photographic technique through Adult Education and TAFE in Tasmania.

As part of satisying my interest in travel, I have recently spent periods working in Singapore and New Zealand, while remaining based in Hobart. I am now concentrating on collaborative photographic projects, both personal and commissioned, working in partnership with another photographer. My ambitions include exhibiting my work more broadly and establishing a photographic gallery.
